Head Start and Early Head Start are locally-operated, federally-funded programs that provide high-quality early childhood education for income-eligible families. Madison County, Illinois families voluntarily enroll their children ages birth through five in our programs because they want to improve their lives. Our qualified teachers create a safe, healthy environment where children learn the skills necessary to be successful in kindergarten and life. Riverbend Head Start & Family Services is teaching children, strengthening families and enhancing communities. We invite you to join us in our mission.
Our mission is to empower children and families to develop positive skills to meet life's challenges.
