It might not feel like it right now, but the cold weather and snow will be here before we know it! With that in mind, Riverbend Head Start and Family Services is collecting coats, hats and gloves during our 17th Annual Coats for Kids Collection Drive. It’s going on now through Friday, November 29th.

Last year, the drive raised more than $9K and distributed 400+ new coats along with other outerwear items. Without community support, this wouldn’t have been possible.

This year, we’re asking for your help in supporting our coat drive. The funds raised will be used to purchase coats in the specific sizes that are needed.

Donations that remain after coats are purchased and distributed will be used to fund other program service needs, such as our new mom’s baskets, new reading books for our literacy program, backpacks filled with school supplies for students heading to kindergarten, and other items promoting healthy habits.
