Granite City Police Chief Visits GCS Head Start

WHO:              

Granite City, IL Police Chief Nick Novacich is a 23-year veteran of the Department, who was appointed to Chief from Assistant Chief of Police in September 2023.

WHAT:             

Chief Novacich, along with a Public Safety Telecommunicator will visit the Granite City South location of Riverbend Head Start and Family Services (RHSFS).

WHEN:             

Monday, October 23, 2023 from 9:30 am – 10:30 a.m.

WHERE:           

The RHSFS Granite City South location is located at 1249 20th Street, Granite City, IL 62040. Main phone is (618) 877-2102.

WHY:               

While Chief Novacich has been with the GCPD for 23+ years, in his new role he is working to build new and strengthen existing relationships with various businesses and groups within the Granite City community.
